Accommodation

Each participant is responsible for arranging their own accommodation. Brno offers a wide range of accommodation options. The closest hotel to the tournament hall is Hotel Kozák (see here), located about a 5-minute walk through a quiet area - ideal for players looking for quality accommodation close to the tournament hall. We have tentatively reserved accommodation for 54 people in single or double rooms. The price, including breakfast, is 850 CZK per person per night in a double room (1,499 CZK per night in a single room). This offer is reserved until April 30, 2025, and those interested in this accommodation must indicate their preference as soon as possible in the registration. 

As of May 1, 2025, accommodation at the hotel for World Championship participants remains available under the same pricing conditions as long as rooms are still available, as they are now also open to the public.

Those interested in accommodation can continue to indicate their interest in the form. Participants who registered by April 30 have their reservation secured and will be contacted by the hotel regarding payment.

We also recommend budget-friendly accommodation in dormitories:

• Vinařská Dormitory – The price for a single room is 850 CZK per night, and a double room costs 1,150 CZK per night. Each room has its own private bathroom. The dormitory is about 20 to 30 minutes by public transport from the tournament hall. Those interested can book directly by emailing hotel.vinarska@skm.muni.cz by May 31, 2025, using the password "piškvorky" (for more info see here).

• Purkyňova Dormitory – The most economical option, ideal for students, offers double rooms with a refrigerator and bedding, with shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. The price for a double room is 662 CZK per night, and a single room costs 462 CZK per night. This dormitory is about a 20-minute walk from the tournament hall. Those interested in this accommodation should mention it in their registration. A reservation will be made for them, and payment details will be provided later (for more info see here).
